An old Russian map of Ladoga

17th century map
This old map, aligned westwards, points out places, important for Karelia at that time - here we have Kexholm/Korela, the Pahkinasaari/Oreshek/Noteburg island, the rivers that lead to the Onego lake, to Novgorod and to Viborg, and, presumably, the Varashev Stone, which for a long time had been a border mark, dividing the territories of Russia and Sweden.
